

BIOGRAPHY
Ted Stevens is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter based out of Sarasota FL. Ted has toured extensively as a guitarist with some of the biggest and most iconic names in rock and roll including the Drifters, Platters, Coasters, Temptations, Tokens, Percy Sledge, and the Shirelles to name a few.

Ted Stevens also performs as a one-man band by singing, playing guitar, bass, and drumbeats live without any backing tracks. He specializes in forgotten classics and the tunes you grew up with!
Stevens created his fanbase in Florida with Ted Stevens and the Doo-Shots. This high energy trio features a very retro styling and sound of upright bass, guitar, and a cocktail drum kit performing roots rock and roll, surf, blues and rockabilly!
Ted Stevens has released 8 albums of original material and has recorded with many different artists. He is working on his latest project which will be recorded at Roctorium Records in Kingston RI.

Ted Stevens was inducted in the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame in 2019 along with fellow bandmates from Young Neal and the Vipers which he was a member of in the 90's.
Stevens music is on the Viva Las Vegas #21 compilation, Noise Ordinance compilation and the award winning "Maurice" TV mini-series finale. He has sold thousands of CD's, downloads and streams.
Ted Stevens performs over 175 shows per year live and has played the smallest coffee shops to the biggest theatres, festivals, baseball stadiums and even legendary venues like NYC's Rainbow Room. He also performs monthly performances on Facebook Live to fans around the world mixing up original and cover songs.
